Surgery date!

Lily will have surgery on Tuesday, March 6th!
We found out this afternoon. That is 3 weeks from tomorrow. It is a relief to have an actual date! it will be at a surgical center instead of at the hospital. I am hopeful this means that they won't try to boss us around so much and will let us be with Lily as much as possible. -K

How exciting! I'm sure they will let you be with her as much as possible. My husband was allowed to be with me as soon as I came out of surgery and never left my side unless another family member or friend could be there. Look forward to reading about Lily's journey to sound!

How's everything going? It's been almost a month since they turned on the implant, right?

Your blog is a valuable testament to the evolution of the deaf society. As the deaf society evolves, they shed some of their past so they can gain wonderful opportunities to participate in all aspects of our society.

Just keep the blog going, just keep the blog alive.

I really enjoy reading your blog. It particularly interested me as I am also the parent of a daughter with cochlear implants. Can you add my site to your list of links?

Good Luck with everything,
